This critical role will require advanced network administration to monitor, design, implement, and protect our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our network environment.

Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability
Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wireless, VPN, Data Center)
Configuration and troubleshooting of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and OT network devices
Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies
Oversee network hardware/software upgrades and lifecycle management
Identify and mitigate network security risks and vulnerabilities
Administer firewalls (Fortinet preferred), NAC, SIEM, and VPN solutions
Monitor network traffic and logs for anomalies and threats
Collaborate closely with other IT teams (Systems, Applications, DevOps) to ensure secure integration of new technologies and services
Mentor junior administrators and serve as a subject matter expert
Lead strategic planning and technical discussions for network initiatives
Participate in an on-call rotation
Some travel might be needed with mergers and acquisitions
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive experience in network administration
Expertise in enterprise network design, implementation, and management
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, 802.1X, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and other network protocols
Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC
Proficiency in diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field
Relevant industry certifications (Aruba/HPE, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CompTIA)
Experience with cloud networking and security in Azure
Experience with Fortinet firewalls, IDS/IPS, Aruba Airwave, ClearPass, and SIEM
