Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand billing report and dashboard needs, and translate them into functional specifications. Analyze existing billing workflows and identify gaps or improvement areas
Develop and maintain data mapping documents between BillingCenter and the Data Warehouse. Work closely with the support team to validate mapping logic and ensure referential integrity across systems
Create and update business process documentation, user stories, and interface specifications. Capture and document report/dashboard requirements in collaboration with stakeholders. Maintain traceability matrices and version-controlled documentation repositories
Partner with reporting teams and support staff to define KPIs and metrics for billing performance. Assist in building and validating reports and dashboards using enterprise reporting platforms
Actively engage with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to clarify requirements and align deliverables. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings to ensure transparency and progress tracking
Support UAT and SIT phases by preparing test cases and validating report outputs. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure data accuracy and performance benchmarks
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C insurance, with at least 2 years in Guidewire BillingCenter
Strong understanding of billing processes, policy lifecycle, and integration points with ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter
Proven experience in data mapping, documentation, and report/dashboard development
Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts and reporting tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Agile methodologies
Preferred
Guidewire certification in BillingCenter or ClaimCenter is a plus
The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and iterative delivery cycles
