Write JUnit unit/integration/contract tests; maintain realistic fixtures
Tune pools/caching/statements; fix N+1; coordinate indexes/partitioning with DBAs
Implement timeouts/retries/circuit breakers/bulkheads; measure with Otel
Secure endpoints; integrate DevSecOps scans; maintain runbooks & SLO dashboards
Plan expand/contract migrations; support blue-green/canary; own rollback criteria
Drive PR/design reviews; improve CI speed/reliability; estimate/surface risks
Full-stack support: collaborate with UI; stabilize E2E; refine contracts
