Contribute to mentoring Ph.D. students
Fulfill normal service expectations
Play a key role in advancing the department's research reputation through collaboration, mentorship, and leadership

Required

Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field
An outstanding record of scholarship eligible for a tenured position at Iowa State University
An established and active record of publishing research in top-tier finance journals such as The Journal of Finance, The Review of Financial Studies, and The Journal of Financial Economics

Preferred

An influential scholarly reputation, as evidenced by scholarly citations and service to the profession
An active research pipeline, including papers targeted or invited for revision at premier journals
Experience in mentoring junior faculty and doctoral students
Experience as a full-time, tenure track or tenured faculty member
A record of effective teaching of finance-related courses
