The Manufacturing Systems Application Development Internship offers students hands-on experience in Information Technology and related fields over a 10-12 week period.

Responsibilities

Working with a summer mentor learning different aspects of how the Manufacturing Systems/Operational Technology area works while getting hands-on, real world work experience
Provide project management/leadership support and contribute to the execution of technology projects which deliver business value

Qualification

SQL programmingProject managementMicrosoft OfficeTechnical aptitudeCommunication skills

Required

Must be a rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors degree at an accredited university in a relevant field of study
Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software
Have strong communication skills, including written and verbal
Must be able to work independently or in teams
Must be able to demonstrate technical aptitude

Preferred

3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred
Completed at least 1 college-level project management course
Completed database management/SQL programming courses
Student extra-curricular experiences demonstrating leadership ability
