Responsibilities

Supervise and provide guidance to the administrative office support team, including administrative assistants, receptionists, and other staff
Conduct regular team meetings, set performance expectations, and provide coaching and mentorship
Oversee and coordinate daily administrative operations, ensuring efficient and organized office support for the hospital
Identify training needs and develop ongoing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the administrative staff
Assist in the onboarding and orientation of new team members
Conduct regular performance evaluations for administrative staff and provide constructive feedback for their professional growth, rewarding outstanding performance
Assist in handling more complex administrative tasks, such as special projects, budget management, and executive-level support, as necessary
Serve as a point of contact for resolving escalated administrative issues
Ensure that patient records, appointment logs, and other critical documentation are accurate, complete, and securely maintained
Foster positive and effective communication within the administrative team and with other hospital departments
Manage the procurement and maintenance of office supplies, equipment, and technology to support efficient office operations

Required

Bachelors Degree Required
5+ years Administrative experience
At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting
1 year Experience mentoring, coaching, and guiding a team
