OPS Customer Service Representative

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of Customer Service Representative at the Florida Public Safety Institute. The role involves serving as the first point of contact for visitors and handling inquiries, processing mail and deliveries, and assisting with various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, vendors and store customers
Be the main point of contact for phone calls and in-person inquiries
Process mail, packages, and deliveries – while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/reception area
Assist with other operations- or store-related projects and tasks as assigned
Varied hours between 7:30 and 5:00; 25 hours weekly

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and appearance

Preferred

Prior experience in front desk, administrative support, retail, or operations role
