Responsibilities
Verifies, processes, and creates end of day reports and send to Finance for approval
Imports and validates all payments received, documents batch numbers, amounts of transactions, and total amounts collected
Inputs data from cash batches, accurately identifying general ledger, revenue, and expense accounts along with exact credit and debit amounts, dates, and descriptions
Reviews and updates adjustments, reverses, returns, penalties, contracts, credit applications, deposits, bills, and payment packets
Imports approved and updated packets from server into the general ledger. Reviews and compares reports for accuracy and creates appropriate descriptions
Distributes cash collection payments. Updates and verifies all account payable files
Creates and updates payroll input forms for new employees, as well as existing employees who have needed changes, including demographic, important dates, salary and hourly rates, holiday sick and vacation time, tax withholding, and bank deposit information
Performs related work as required
Qualification
Required
High School graduation or GED equivalent
One (1) year of general bookkeeping or office support experience
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history
Experience with using computers
General knowledge in documentation, writing and record keeping
1 year of bookkeeping and data entry experience
