Responsibilities
Assist with on-site management to ensure project execution success
Identify and mitigate potential project risks before occurrence
Maintain and review daily superintendent reports
Ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
Assist PM as needed with material procurement, tracking, RFI's, submittals, etc
Support the project bidding process
Process owner and subcontractors change orders
Organize & facilitate weekly Owner-Architect- Contractor (OAC) meetings
Help train or mentor other RAM employees and lead by example
Continuously seek RAM Construction process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred
3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in Commercial Construction Projects
Commercial TI experience required
Proficiency in reading drawings and understanding the constructability of projects
Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong knowledge of Construction document control, RFI's, and submittal processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook)
Familiarity with CA labor laws and OSHA regulations
Preferred
OSHPD and/or Medical Office Building experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft Project a plus
Experience with Procore a plus
