Responsibilities

Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management

Must be able to perform project pre-construction activities including, estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling

Manage project scheduling, scheduling updates, schedule management and documentation

Responsible for project quality control and quality assurance that construction meets or exceeds the plans, specifications, codes, and approved shop drawings

Responsible for change order estimating, tracking and commitments

Project documentation, correspondence, records, paperwork, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFI’s etc

Open communication with management

Train and develop team members for overall company growth

Required

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience working for a commercial GC

A minimum of 5 years of experience Managing Projects in commercial construction

Have adept knowledge of all principals of construction, methods, techniques, print reading, contracting, and construction management

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore), accounting cost management software (Procore), and scheduling software

100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope

Experience with running multiple projects, preferably within RAM Construction's core markets

Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills

Ability to create and support team morale
