Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple federal income tax engagements including compliance and consulting services, bringing in other experts as needed (SALT, international, etc.)
Identify and deliver high-value tax planning strategies for clients
Manage and expand client relationships by providing timely and competent communication and value-added services
Participate in recruiting both entry level staff and experienced professionals
Develop and energize the tax staff and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance
Recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the tax staff
Represent the Firm at selected industry and community events
Qualification
Required
CPA
At least five years of tax experience in public accounting
Significant experience with federal taxation for partnerships and/or high net worth individuals
Has risen to the level of Tax Manager, or to the level just below
A demonstrated history of client satisfaction and strong relationship building skills
Experience leading / supervising others
Fosters a collegial culture / atmosphere
