Tenure-Track/Tenured: Assistant/Associate Professor - Engineering Technology & Industrial Distribution (Industrial Distribution)
Texas A&M University is seeking applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in the Industrial Distribution Program at the assistant or associate professor levels. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, mentoring students, and developing an independent research program in areas related to industrial distribution, operations management, and data analytics.

Responsibilities
Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Advise and mentor graduate students
Develop an independent, externally funded research program
Participate in all aspects of the department’s activities
Serve the university, college, department, and profession
Qualification
Required
Earned a doctorate in industrial engineering, supply chain management, management science, decision sciences, operations research, systems engineering, or a closely related discipline
At least one degree in Engineering
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Relevant hands-on research and experience aligned with industrial distribution, including operations management, data analytics, optimization, supply chain and logistics, digital distribution, and operations research
Experience working in or with the industry
Leveraging the latest technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models, for advancing core research areas
