They are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of their platform, while leading test strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, tailored for gaming experiences
Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality requirements for upcoming features and releases, aligning with the expectations of a gaming audience
Lead the development of test strategies, advising on best practices and identifying areas for risk mitigation
Manage and prioritize reported issues, working closely with development teams to resolve critical bugs that could impact gaming experiences
Conduct root cause analysis for high-impact issues and collaborate on corrective actions to prevent recurring quality issues
Regularly generate and communicate quality metrics and status reports to stakeholders to maintain transparency
Mentor junior QA team members, sharing best practices, automation techniques, and troubleshooting strategies specific to gaming QA
Lead test planning sessions, code reviews for test scripts, and retrospectives, driving continuous improvement in QA processes
Serve as a primary QA point of contact within cross-functional teams, facilitating the seamless integration of QA processes with development, product, and design
Advocate for quality throughout all project phases, ensuring gaming projects meet the highest standards before release
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of QA experience in game testing — ideally within the poker, real-money gaming, or social casino industry
Strong understanding of poker fundamentals (e.g., hand rankings, gameplay flow, table dynamics, tournaments) — whether through professional experience or a personal passion for the game
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a player-first mindset and a sharp eye for game balance, fairness, and user experience
Proven track record of delivering high-quality products in Agile environments, especially for gaming or interactive entertainment applications
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to refine gameplay and resolve edge cases
