DME Intake Coordinator and office manager
One Health Home Health and Hospice is seeking a DME Coordinator to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced environment. The role involves managing inventory, providing customer service, and ensuring accurate documentation for insurance claims.

Responsibilities
Overseeing daily operations at assigned site(s), including inventory management, brace fitting, documentation, and charge entry
Providing superior customer service, managing orthopedic bracing and supply programs, fitting bracing, educating patients on product usage, and ensuring accurate insurance billing
Tracking, gathering, and organizing the necessary documentation for insurance claims
Taking orders on medical supplies and set up billing and disbursement
Answering calls and emails
Educating physicians and staff on supplies and serving as a resource for product-related questions
Providing training on equipment usage and any special applications to providers and medical staff
Supporting daily operations by managing Claims System (as needed)
Monitoring and establishing inventory par levels, introducing new products, and maintaining inventory accuracy
Tracking DMEPOS dispenses, costs, and generating purchase orders for assigned site(s)
Coordinating with the billing office to obtain pre-authorizations, managing patient co-insurances, deductibles, and cash payments
Tracking claim denials and following up with the appropriate departments for resolution
Delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, analyzing trends, and recommending process improvements
