Responsibilities

Operate manual machining equipment including Bridgeport mills, lathes, band saws, and presses

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics

Set up machines and complete jobs with minimal supervision

Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools

Troubleshoot production issues and apply problem-solving skills in real time

Keep documentation of part dimensions and any deviations

Work safely in a production environment and follow established procedures

Required

A high school graduate or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred

Experienced in manual machining (2+ years required)

Able to run start-to-finish jobs independently

Familiar with first-run and prototype work, and understands extra steps required for precision parts

Strong with blueprint reading, measurement tools, and general safety standards

Willing to work overtime or weekends as needed

Comfortable working with large parts, overhead cranes, noisy environments, and standing for long periods

All positions require customer focus with a service-oriented attitude as well as attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to adapt to changes in daily activities is essential

Ability to travel and work overtime/weekends, as needed, to meet customer and in-house demands

All applicants must pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening and must have a clean driving record
