Responsibilities

Support wired and wireless LAN functions by providing skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support of current and new technologies to the Local Area Network (LAN)
Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline over time
Continually update the system as various changes are imposed on the system during the lifecycle from development through deployment, operations, and maintenance

Required

Two (2) years of network operations experience. Higher level education or military service can be used in lieu of two (2) years network operations experience
Experience in telecommunications network design and management
Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services
Experience in performing and providing for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems
IA Level: IAT-II One of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
And one of the following: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE
