Provide engaging and effective instruction in core surgical technology courses, adhering to the current Core Curriculum guidelines

Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records

Deliver a quality educational experience for students at clinical sites, ensuring they meet the necessary competencies for certification

Work with program leadership to support academic goals and mission and collaborate with Clinical Managers and Educational Coordinators

Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and programmatic assessments as needed

Required

Be a graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency

Possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA)

Have a minimum of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical Technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years
