CesiumAstro is a developer of communication systems for satellites and airborne platforms. They are seeking Summer 2026 interns to design and build electronics hardware for satellite communication systems, working alongside design engineers and contributing to various projects.

Responsibilities

Design and build electronics hardware for satellite communication systems

Contributing to the company’s success

Responsible for their own schematics and layouts

Supporting analysis and hands-on lab work

Qualification

Required

Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Science (MS), or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university

GPA of 3.5 or higher

Strong fundamentals in EE topics covered in coursework

Practical experience designing and building electronics hardware for a research project, competition team, extracurricular activity, prior internship, or advanced engineering course

Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, and debugging

Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads, and signal generators

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
