Manufacturing Industrial Engineering Intern
Bloom Energy is pioneering solutions for clean, reliable energy. The Manufacturing Industrial Engineering Intern will observe manufacturing processes, learn from technicians, conduct time studies, and implement improvements in the production environment.

Responsibilities
Observe each process closely (“gemba”)
Learn each process in detail by talking with technicians and engineers
Conduct time studies of each process and/or pull and analyze data to improve the accuracy of our capacity model
Create a list of opportunities for improvement throughout the factory—yours and those of the people with whom you talk
Implement at least one significant improvement
Qualification
Required
Currently a student earning a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027
Preferred
An eye for process improvement
Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Highly motivated and a self-starter
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills
