Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Responsibilities
Project areas may include
Design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling and fixtures
Sustainability metrics ownership
Manufacturing process improvements
Propose new ideas to save on manufacturing costs, labor, or improve quality
Test and present findings for assigned projects
Create documentation and process flow diagrams, based on assigned projects
Qualification
Required
Currently a student earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027
Preferred
Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Highly motivated and a self-starter
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills
Focus on working with cross-functional teams
Experience with leveraging spreadsheets, systems, and processes to complete tasks
Experience with creating 3D designs and drawings using dimensioning and tolerancing. Experience with SolidWorks preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
