Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or closely related discipline (or near completion of their doctoral studies)
Demonstrated research potential by the appointment date
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses
Establish and lead an innovative research program
Supervise graduate students
Pursue external funding opportunities
Provide service to the University
Preferred
Demonstrated ability as a teacher or research worker
Evidence of growth in scholarly or professional achievement for Assistant Professor
Established reputation in scholarly or professional achievement for Associate Professor
Substantial record of advanced research and/or creative work, and of leadership in their field of specialization for Professor
Ability to build a strong methodological research base in areas of Operations Research, including optimization, stochastics, simulation, machine learning and artificial intelligence
