Responsibilities
Medical gas administration, aerosol therapy
Obtaining and analyzing blood specimens
Performing patient testing
Operating and maintaining various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment
Additional responsibilities include completing documentation in patient records, cleaning equipment and maintaining safety and infection control practices
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program
Maintains a GPA of 2.0 or greater
Current BLS certification
Current Kansas Student License (or within 60 days of hire) from the KBHA
Clinical experience through their Clinical Rotations
Strong interpersonal skills
