They are seeking a Program Coordinator to supervise and coordinate daily assignments for unit staff, develop new hires, and interact with youth and families as well as community resources.

Responsibilities

Will supervise and coordinate daily assignments and procedures for unit staff
Development of new hires and program development for the child/adolescent direct care teams
Interacts directly with youth and families. The frequency varies with needs, availability of residents, and acuity level
Interacts frequently with therapists, physicians, and other employees involved in the case
Regular interaction with community resources, providers, coordinate services and referral sources such as: DCS, court, probation, schools, and health care providers

Child care experienceLeadership experienceSocial services degreeTeam coordinationCommunication skills

Required

Associates degree with two years of experience working in a child caring institution
HS diploma or equivalent with four years of experience working in a child caring institution, and two years of experience in a leadership capacity
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a valid driver's license

Preferred

Bachelors degree in social / human services related field
