Responsibilities

Establishes and conducts active, complex scientific research as an independent researcher
Makes strong intellectual contributions to scientific strategies of the group/lab and plays a leadership role by acting as subject matter expert in field
Contributes to the design and execution of experiments and/or research projects
Exercises judgment in selecting methods and technologies to obtain results
May collaborate with external researchers and/or receive external project funding support
Presents results and prepares publications
May assist PI in the training and supervision of other staff

Qualification

Molecular BiologyProtein ChemistryBiochemical TechniquesAntibody DevelopmentLeadershipCollaborationPresentation Skills

Required

Applicants should have recent, direct, hands-on experience in molecular biology and/or protein chemistry
Applicants must be proficient in using core biochemical techniques (Western Blot, ELISA, protein purification, immunohistochemistry, etc.)

Preferred

Experience in antibody development and characterization is advantageous but not required
