Responsibilities
Work directly with our co-founders to prepare written updates on our science and business by drafting copy, and providing high-level feedback on structure and organization
Maintain a firm grasp of Arcadia's publishing experiment and business model in order to help ideate and iterate on our written communications
Write for clarity while taking care to ensure scientific accuracy, checking with scientist(s) for more background as needed
Qualification
Required
A degree in the life sciences is required
A minimum of one year professional experience in science or other technical communication, specifically writing or editing
You should have enough scientific experience to understand our research, which covers a broad range of topics and scientific disciplines
Preferred
Understanding of basic research and private sector (eg. venture capital)
