Responsibilities
Plan, organize and direct activities to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance for Lancer’s products and manufacturing processes
Develop a strategy and execute a comprehensive compliance plan assuring product compliance is met across the product line for domestic and international sales
Collaborate and motivate teams ensure regulatory compliance of new products and product variations
Manage and mentor a compliance team, providing guidance and development to ensure high performance
Work closely with legal, operations, quality, and safety teams to ensure regulatory requirements are incorporated into manufacturing processes
Support sales and the business on identifying and achieving compliance regulations for products
Identify compliance risks and implement risk mitigation strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality assurance) to ensure risk is minimized and regulatory compliance is maintained
Foster a culture of compliance and collaboration across the organization by ensuring that all employees understand their role in maintaining compliance standards
Coordinate internal and external audits of manufacturing facilities
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory agencies
Provide quarterly reports for executive leadership on compliance status, risks, and actions taken to resolve non-compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 15 years of experience in design and manufacturing of equipment
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership role obtaining and maintaining compliance approvals for food service equipment
Experience leading audits and managing compliance programs
Experience managing outside compliance agencies and testing
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in compliance management software and tools
Experience in quality processes
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, or related field
PMP certification
Knowledge / experience working with ERP and PLM software
