Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations with supporting documentation
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements
Assist with monthly and year-end financial close
Assist with year-end financial audit
Monitor policies and procedures for compliance and suggest modifications and improvements as applicable
Maintain effective internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and procedures
Ad hoc reporting and projects as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
2+ years' experience in accounting
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Preferred
Certified public accountant (CPA) a plus
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or comparable ERP a plus
