Challenge advanced language models on topics like contextual interpretation, tone and meaning, dialectical distinctions, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance
Document every failure mode to harden model reasoning
Converse with the model in Mapudungun across a wide range of topics
Verify linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
Capture reproducible error traces
Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Qualification
Required
Mapudungun language expertise
Experience with regional dialects, phonetics, syntax, idiomatic expressions, oral traditions, and cultural references
Ability to challenge advanced language models on contextual interpretation, tone and meaning, dialectical distinctions, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance
Experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work
Master's degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or a related field
Clear, metacognitive communication skills
