Responsibilities
Assist with quantity takeoffs and material cost calculations for various construction projects
Review project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare cost estimates
Collaborate with project teams to gather data and validate assumptions
Research vendor pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases
Participate in bid preparations and pre-construction planning meetings
Qualification
Required
Must currently be enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a business-related field
Must possess a strong desire to start a career in the Fire & Life Safety or electrical construction industry
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Outstanding interpersonal and team collaboration skills
Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of Fire & Life Safety projects
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred
Prior construction or Fire & Life Safety experience is a plus
Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Accubid, or other construction technology is a plus
