Responsibilities

Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures

Assist surgeons and staff by passing instruments and anticipating needs

Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and supplies

Support room turnover, equipment cleaning, and surgical readiness

Perform instrument and supply counts per protocol

Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards

Required

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program required

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred

BLS certification required

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation

Effective communication and teamwork skills in the OR environment

Attention to detail and ability to anticipate surgical team needs

Commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on operating room experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery setting, with the ability to adapt to various surgical specialties and team environments

Preferred

Previous OR experience in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting a plus
