Perform detailed cost analysis focused on suppliers and market trends to guide procurement decisions
Implement target costing strategies for new product development (NPD) and ongoing projects
Lead benchmarking studies and market assessments to identify competitive advantages
Support integration of new technologies into sourcing strategies
Drive cross-functional cost optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Champion the Design-to-Cost approach to optimize product costs
Conduct supplier visits to uncover and implement cost-saving opportunities
Prepare insightful reports and presentations for stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Several years of professional experience; prior manufacturing engineering experience is a plus
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, component production, and assembly
Proven ability to calculate and analyze component costs
Exceptional analytical skills, initiative, and assertiveness combined with team spirit
Independent, structured work style with a high degree of reliability
