Warehouse Shipping Lead – Continuous Improvement & Operations
ConnectUs Corp is seeking a dynamic, systems-driven Shipping Lead to elevate their warehouse operations. This role involves overseeing outbound logistics, driving continuous improvement, and leading a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in shipping processes.

Responsibilities
Oversee all outbound logistics, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to customer SLAs
Implement and refine lean methodologies to eliminate waste, streamline workflows, and increase throughput
Operate and optimize within shipping and order management software (e.g., OrderTime, ShipStation), ensuring all orders flow seamlessly across departments
Track and analyze KPIs such as on-time shipment rate, error rate, throughput per hour, and scan-to-ship time to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Leverage tools, macros, and automation to reduce manual touchpoints and improve speed and accuracy
Double-check IMEIs, serials, and labels; maintain shipment traceability and documentation integrity
Train, motivate, and hold team members accountable for hitting daily goals while maintaining high morale and discipline
Work with Purchasing, Receiving, Tech Zone, and Operations to maintain smooth order flow and proactively resolve bottlenecks
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards; champion a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Understand that each shipment impacts a real user — take ownership of ensuring a 'zero-friction' customer experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
Certified in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies
Customer-first mentality
5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
Minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role within shipping or logistics
Proven track record of implementing successful process improvement initiatives
Proficient in logistics and inventory software systems. (ShipStation experience is a plus)
Proven knowledge of warehouse organization and workflow
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a very fast-paced environment
Strong active listening and communication skills
MUST HAVE - Keen focus on details
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Google Spreadsheets
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
