Responsibilities
Design and automate the networking foundations for large-scale compute clusters across all the major cloud providers, connecting millions of VMs running on Databricks
Lead the design and development of secure and scalable connectivity that powers all the data / AI workloads
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering teams, to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient networking systems
Qualification
Required
5+ years of production-level experience in one of: Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language
4+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch
Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
Extensive experience working on large-scale compute clusters, network connectivity, and automation
