Responsibilities
Build the frontier: Shape and deliver a world-class prediction markets trading platform that sets new standards for performance, usability, and trust
Define core strategies: Lead the vision for our data, exchange, and AI foundations — from real-time data pipelines and market-making algorithms to intelligent, personalized insights for traders
Create bespoke experiences: Partner with design and product to craft engaging, event-driven experiences for major U.S. and global moments — the kinds of experiences users talk about and return to
Drive technical and cultural excellence: Recruit and mentor top talent, cultivate a culture of innovation and velocity, and ensure we ship with both quality and ambition
Collaborate across Robinhood: Work closely with leaders in data science, compliance, product, and growth to bring an entirely new category of financial experience to market
Lead and empower your team: Provide technical and strategic leadership, mentoring engineers, and nurturing a culture of collaboration and innovation
Drive product excellence: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other teams to define and implement a roadmap for seamless payment experiences
Develop new features: Build and optimize payment solutions for global markets, ensuring they are intuitive and reliable
Scale for growth: Improve the platform to support international expansions, multi-account management, and new business features
Promote standard methodologies in engineering: Ensure high-quality code, scalability, and security in all deliverables
Qualification
Required
Technical expertise: You have experience in backend development, (e.g., Python, Golang), and a deep understanding of building platforms
Strong product sense: You understand user needs and can translate business goals into elegant technical solutions
Leadership experience: Proven ability to lead engineering teams, drive complex projects, and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative approach: You excel in working with diverse teams and can influence collaborators across fields
Preferred
Global perspective: Experience in building solutions for international users is a strong plus
