Senior Engineer, Mechanical Engineer (Onsite)

Responsibilities
Support existing product development and field issues related to design, analysis, and test
Create Engineering documentation such as hardware specification development, test plans, analytical reports, and test reports
Perform to program plans (budgets and schedules)
Effectively communicate with management, suppliers, customers, and members of the technical design team
Participate in design discussions and customer presentations
Conduct engineering investigations to establish root cause and verify then implement corrective action
Adhere and develop engineering standard work
Respond to supplier or plant site issues, analyze and correct operations and field issues
Decompose system level requirements into component level requirements
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Preferred
Experience in design, test, and manufacturing of mechanical components and systems
Background with structural and thermal analysis, and 3D design software
Experience with Excel (i.e., VBA, Solver, etc.)
Experience preparing and executing to a program plan
Experience with requirements management (DOORS)
