Responsibilities
Contribute to design projects with complex design challenges and broad scope
Create 3-Dimensional models using 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) package
Create and revise schematics, drawings and bill of materials
Interact with employees, outside vendors and suppliers as needed
Build prototypes to support the development of product design
Participate in identification of cost reduction opportunities and in the design and development of cost reduction changes
Other Duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSME) or directly related degree
Minimum of 3 years' experience in developing Electrical parts and assemblies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent project management skills
Demonstrated record of meeting deadlines and goals for design projects
Demonstrated ability using applicable engineering modeling tools
Technical knowledge of content primarily related to Electrical design
Working knowledge of product lifecycle management tools
Demonstrated history of delivering quality products to market with understanding and respect for all phases of the product development process
Ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team
Familiar with NEC and has worked with NRTL
