Responsibilities

Process new business, renewals, endorsements and other transactions, includes handling basic underwriting analysis for routine new business applications
Input data into underwriting tools during pre-underwriting processes and/or gather missing information to assist underwriters in proper evaluation of new and renewal accounts
Collaborates with team members to address needs, updates, or concerns related to assigned accounts with understanding of core property & casualty line of business or insurance segment
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Commercial underwriting experienceMicrosoft Office proficiencyOral communication skillsWritten communication skillsTeam playerDetail oriented

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work well with others
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Able to follow directions and detail oriented

Preferred

Commercial underwriting or rating experience
