Financial Services Manager - Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services - Property & Casualty

Responsibilities
Deliver EY’s actuarial transformation and premium acceleration service offerings
Develop efficiencies throughout the practice
Streamline the operational aspects of the group
Participate on engagement teams focused on reserving, actuarial opinion and regulatory services
Engage in predictive modeling and customer analytics
Contribute to actuarial transformation and modeling
Set rates for all lines of business
Conduct financial forecasting and valuation
Assist in product development
Mentor and develop junior team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or other related majors
Approximately 6+ years of experience in an actuarial-oriented position
A minimum of 2 years of project or people management responsibility
Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society required, Fellowship preferred
At least 3 years of experience with Excel, SAS, VBA and/or C++
Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills as evidenced by preparing and presenting results and/or findings to clients or senior management
Strong organizational skills
Self-motivated
Ability to understand and persuade on complex subjects both in writing and verbally
Experience working in a team environment on project-based work
Preferred
Previous consulting experience or experience implementing new processes/procedures in a corporate environment
Experience with loss reserving software
Experience with rating engines and platforms
2 years working with advanced analytics including knowledge of R, SQL, Python or similar data and analytics programming languages
