Controls Engineer

They are seeking a Controls Engineer responsible for designing and testing industrial control panels and supporting local manufacturing with electrical troubleshooting and system improvements.

Responsibilities

Design industrial control panels using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN
Support local manufacturing operations by diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
Specify and source electrical components to meet design and functionality requirements
Occasionally program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
Create and maintain process control system documentation for end users

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 months of CAD experience
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and initiative skills
Technical writing skills for control system documentation

Preferred

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN
Knowledge of the National Electric Code and UL508 standards
Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial network communications
Knowledge of Coperion Process Solutions and Schenck Process products
Experience with HMI screen development and troubleshooting
