Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure across platforms (mobile, hybrid, backend, APIs)
Build tools, scripts, or capabilities using AI / ML-assisted test generation, test case optimization, or anomaly detection to improve coverage and reduce manual effort
Create and own test suites: unit, integration, UI, end-to-end, regression, performance, load, and stress tests
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, gate builds, and automate release validations
Collaborate with mobile, hybrid, and backend engineers to define testing strategies, API contracts, failure modes, and observability for testability
Instrument test environments, monitor test health, coverage, flakiness, and reliability metrics
Design test data management, mocking, virtualization, and service simulation setups for cross-system testing
Continuously improve test architecture, reduce test execution times, and scale for parallel / distributed test runs
Troubleshoot production / pre-production issues that surface via automated test failures; investigate root causes, define fixes, and improve resilience
Stay up-to-date on AI / ML tooling (e.g. GPT-based test generation, self-healing tests, anomaly detection) and propose adoption strategies
