Responsibilities
Collaborate with design and thermal engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of liquid cooling components and assemblies
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes including assembly, brazing, welding, leak testing, and quality control
Design and build fixtures and tooling for efficient assembly and testing of cooling systems
Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, and PFMEAs
Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-up activities
Drive DFM/DFA initiatives to reduce cost and improve throughput
Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure quality and consistency
Lead continuous improvement projects focused on scalability, quality, and cost
Stay agile and responsive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting processes as products evolve
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in thermal systems, electronics, or fluid systems
Experience with high-volume production, including scaling from prototype to mass manufacturing
Demonstrated expertise in a variety of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, brazing, welding, injection molding, and additive manufacturing
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and process simulation
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems
Ability to maintain an active pulse on emerging manufacturing technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred
Experience in a startup or fast-paced product development environment is a plus
Familiarity with datacenter infrastructure and server manufacturing is a plus
Knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC standards, and RoHS compliance is a plus
