Responsibilities
Understanding the practical aspects of Geotechnical Engineering
Assisting with field reconnaissance and planning of field exploration
Assisting with compiling geotechnical data, preparing boring logs, and developing subsurface profiles
Performing geotechnical analysis involving slope stability, liquefaction, and capacities of foundations
Supporting the preparation and development of geotechnical reports
Attending site visits during the construction phase of various projects
Assisting with other project-related deliverables
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in Master's Program in Geotechnical Engineering or Geosystems Engineering
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
Course work in soil mechanics, engineering geology, and foundation engineering
Basic knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
