Surge Energy America is focused on operational excellence and is seeking an Oil and Gas IT Analyst to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of their revenue and land systems. This role involves acting as a liaison between business users and technology, driving innovation, and resolving operational issues related to Quorum applications.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Surge Quorum ERP business users (for Revenue, Division Order, Production, Accounting and Land as the primary point of contact for support to understand their business needs, problem solve operational issues, report generations and/or data extraction

Provide support to Surge Quorum ERP business users on any applications with integrations into the Quorum ERP

Develop effective working relationships to explain technical concepts in simple, business terms

Providing technical Quorum ERP guidance and training as required

Participate in change management in respect to the Quorum ERP application and related processes

Monitor and participate in the creation of Quorum ERP automated jobs and data transformations

Gather business unit requirements and translate to technology solutions, designed to create value, efficiency, minimize risk, and ensure secure operations

As required, prepare development progress updates and documenting Quorum ERP processes

Required

A minimum of three (3) years' experience with IT support of Quorum applications: Revenue (QRA), DO (QDO), Production (FIIAN), JIB (QCA), Accounting (QCFS), Land (QLS) and WellEZ- strong focus on QRA and QDO

A Bachelor's Degree or post-secondary technical diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related degree

Must be proficient and understand user's security configuration and administration in Quorum system administration for user's security, configurations and patch planning

Must be proficient and have hands on experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Spotfire, QQM, Power BI)- reviewing and writing SQL queries

Solid understanding of oil & gas upstream business processes and familiarity with accounting principles is essential to help troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in Quorum's system outputs

Preferred

5 years of progressive IT experience with support and implementation of Quorum applications and proven expertise in QRA and QDO specifically

Experience with Spotfire is a plus
