Responsibilities
Become an expert in Dodge & PEC data to produce leads for our rental sales reps. Schedule appointments with those customers and push to our field reps
On future dated jobs, find contractors coming into our area from out of state. Get those prospect customers set up with an account and ready to rent when they land in Arkansas
Uses a call plan to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor, by phone, or via internet
New customer growth
Participate in call blitzes with our reps in specific industries
Maintain accurate customer account information
Maintain a call list, be active in Monday.com CEM
Maintain knowledge of all product lines and understand marketing programs to ensure effective representation
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, in person, over the phone, and in writing to exceed customer expectations and needs
Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
Assist in implementing department marketing programs designed to increase customer awareness of existing equipment, service needs, and provide information concerning the availability of products
Build and maintain effective relationships within the Riggs organization and with client base
Continued education/training on equipment product lines offered by Riggs
Responsible for long-term satisfaction of customers
Attend trade shows to promote product and Riggs
Assist in lead generation and qualification of those leads
Help manage social media & internet leads
Maintain Caterpillar reporting systems with the most up to date information available for sales leads
Qualification
Required
Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully, and sometimes develop alternative solutions
Ability to work in group problem solving situations
Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and responds promptly to customer needs
Ability to speak or communicate clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations – Bi-lingual a plus
Demonstrated group presentation skills and willingness to participate in meetings
Ability to set and achieve ambitious goals, demonstrate persistence and overcomes obstacles, and self-measure against standard of excellence
Respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Promotes a harassment-free environment
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver license and clean driving record
Intermediate Excel knowledge
Intermediate experience using CRM tools such as saleslink, salesforce, or other customer relationship management software
Preferred
1-5 Caterpillar or Competitor Sales Experience preferred
