Responsibilities
Managing a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and liability claims
Conducting thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions
Develop litigation strategies tailored to each case
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members
Present compelling arguments and persuasively advocate for clients in court
Collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting insurance defense
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing
10+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including trial experience
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
Maintaining composure under pressure and upholding ethical standards
Clear, confident, and effective communication with judges, juries, clients, and opposing counsel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
