Responsibilities

Serve as an AECOM senior project manager on rail projects from planning, preliminary engineering, and final design
Accountable for developing project scope, budget and schedule and lead client contract negotiations
Coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with others team members as well as support business development
Provide leadership and mentorship to subordinate managers and technical engineering staff
Performance at this level requires experience in a professional position and demonstrated experience with the types of tasks that will be required

Qualification

Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineering licenseRail design experienceOpenRoads/OpenRailCommunicationDetail-orientedCollaboration skills

Required

BA/BS + ten (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineering license in Nebraska (or ability to obtain)
8 years of relevant experience in rail design, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Proficient with OpenRoads/OpenRail or other BIM Software (AutoCAD/Civil 3D/GeoPak)
Ability to collaborate and coordinate with design teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians
Be detail-oriented
Excellent communication and writing skill
