5+ years expAralon Properties is seeking a Commercial Property Accountant to manage the accounting functions of multiple commercial entities. The role includes preparing financial statements, performing accounting functions, and collaborating with property managers and the accounting team.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statement packages for multiple commercial properties, including CAM estimate and actual calculations
Perform accounting functions including:
Posting cash receipts
Inputting lease abstracts
Processing move-outs and security deposit refunds
Preparing rent rolls and delinquency reports
Reviewing accounts payable coding and descriptions
Completing bank reconciliations
Preparing monthly property management fee calculations
Setting up and performing CAM calculations
Handle general accounting functions: journal entries, G/L account analysis, amortization and depreciation schedules, reconciliation of scheduled rent to actual rent billed, and A/P preliminary report review for accuracy
Maintain cash records and perform cash management functions for each property
Collaborate daily with property managers, development team as well as other accounting team members
Complete CAM reconciliations using Yardi Elevate
Maintain property files, including insurance, property tax, and mortgage documentation, with supporting schedules in Excel for prepaid, accrued, and amortization items
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years of accounting experience, with commercial property accounting and lease analysis expertise
Strong knowledge of CAM recoveries and billbacks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Experience with Yardi Voyager 8
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Ability to Commute: San Francisco, CA 94107 (Required)
