Responsibilities
Monitors networks and systems for security issues, suspicious activities, and compliance
Assists in investigating security breaches/incidents and documenting findings
Participates in system analysis, vulnerability identification, and basic compliance testing
Supports log analysis to identify anomalous traffic or potential data leaks
Prepares technical summaries and maintains detailed records
Communicates compliance gaps and remediation steps to stakeholders
Maintains awareness of vulnerabilities and threat intelligence
Assists with audits, data calls, and compliance activities
Contributes to incident response efforts and post-incident reviews
Supports implementation and monitoring of security controls and toolsets
Qualification
Required
5+ years of cybersecurity experience expected
Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA CySA+, Security+, CEH) may substitute for some experience
Familiarity with federal security standards and compliance frameworks is an asset
Ability to follow technical instructions and learn new technologies or regulations in a dynamic environment
Ability to work on site up to 5 days per week and the ability to keep or hold a Top-Secret Clearance
US Citizenship (clearable) is required
