Provide technical support to internal system users, troubleshoot issues, and communicate actionable feedback to development teams for system maintenance and improvements
Understand business operations and user needs, leveraging this knowledge to influence application design, optimization, and ongoing improvements
Conduct diagnostic tests and debugging, ensuring that findings are accurately reported and prioritized for development team resolutions
Optimize application performance by integrating new technologies, upgrades, and process improvements
Maintain comprehensive and clear documentation of development processes, procedures, and version histories for future reference
Qualification
Required
Provide technical support to internal system users, troubleshoot issues, and communicate actionable feedback to development teams for system maintenance and improvements
Understand business operations and user needs, leveraging this knowledge to influence application design, optimization, and ongoing improvements
Conduct diagnostic tests and debugging, ensuring that findings are accurately reported and prioritized for development team resolutions
Optimize application performance by integrating new technologies, upgrades, and process improvements
Maintain comprehensive and clear documentation of development processes, procedures, and version histories for future reference
Effective collaboration and communication skills to work closely with development, operations, and business teams
Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Relevant training and/or certifications related to application development or technical support
Technical proficiency in relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server)
Technical proficiency in T-SQL and Stored Procedures
Technical proficiency in automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, etc.)
Technical proficiency in data integration tools (e.g., SSIS)
Technical proficiency in high-level programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, etc.)
Fluency in Japanese is a must
College degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
2–3 years or more of relevant experience as an IT Application Engineer or in a related role
