New Grad, Entry LevelMethodist Hospitals is seeking a CT Technologist II to provide patients with various types of CT procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. The role involves performing CT procedures, obtaining patient histories, and maintaining the work area and equipment.

Performs CT procedures
Obtains guidance from the radiologist when order appears unclear or inappropriate
Obtains pertinent histories and explains exam results to patient
Procures results on Stat exams and calls results
Answers all phone calls and schedules special procedures
Maintains work area and equipment
Helps to train and orientate new staff and students to job functions
Qualification
Required
Proven venipuncture skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interactive and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with doctors, nurses, technologists and support staff
Ability to work under pressure and in a stressful environment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and the ability to work independently without specific supervision in a self-confident manner
Must be professional, courtesy and must have a positive attitude
Associates Degree in Radiology Required
Successful completion of a clinical rotation through a CT Program at an accredited college Required
Active Indiana Radiologic Technologist License Required
ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Registration through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required
ARRT (R) Radiography Registration through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required
Certified Basic Life Saving Certification Required
